Beat the World Records is the Portland, Oregon imprint launched by alt-rock band The Dandy Warhols around 2008, after the group exited Capitol/EMI and began self-releasing through their own label (the first release being 'Earth To The Dandy Warhols'). It functioned largely as a vehicle for the band's own catalog while also putting out a handful of Portland and West Coast acts during its active years. The standalone web presence is now gone: the old beattheworld.com domain throws a TLS certificate error and redirects to the band's official site, dandywarhols.com, where the catalog lives under 'Records.' In practice it reads as dormant/folded into the band's own operation.
