Aphonia Recordings
Seattle · Washington · US
Aphonia Recordings is an independent label founded in Seattle, Washington in 2006 by Ben L. Robertson and Andrew Senna, built around a low-overhead, digital-first model with its own online storefront. It serves primarily as an outlet for experimental, ambient, electroacoustic, and noise music, with occasional forays into pop-leaning artists. Releases span solo projects and compilations from acts including Mangled Bohemians, Divorce Party, Bill Horist, and KRGA, catering to collectors of esoteric and niche soundscapes.
