Antone's Records is the storied Austin, Texas blues label founded in 1987 (originally Antone's Records & Tapes) by Clifford Antone, tied to his legendary Antone's nightclub, the self-styled 'home of the blues.' It documented the deep Texas and traditional blues scene with releases by artists such as Pinetop Perkins, James Cotton, Angela Strehli, Lazy Lester, Lavelle White, Doug Sahm, Toni Price, and Sue Foley. After Clifford Antone's death in 2006 the label went through bankruptcy, and its masters are now owned and distributed by New West Records, which continues to issue archival and anniversary releases including a 2025 four-LP '50 Years of the Blues' box set.
