Angel Air Records is an English independent 'heritage' label established in February 1997 by Peter and Shirley Purnell, originally based in Stowmarket, Suffolk. It specialises in reissues of classic British pop, rock, and progressive rock albums (and rarities) from the 1960s and 1970s, issuing well over 500 CDs and 30-plus DVDs, with catalogue ties to acts like Mott the Hoople, Atomic Rooster, Stackridge, and members of Saxon. In February 2019 the Purnells sold the label to Brian and Terry Adams, trading as The Store For Music Ltd, and it continues to operate. Its lean is firmly toward archival/reissue prog, rock, and folk rather than new artist development.
