AIP Records (Archive International Productions) is a reissue label launched around 1983 as an offshoot of Greg Shaw's Bomp! Records in Los Angeles, dedicated to obscure 1960s American garage rock, psychedelia, and 'original punk rock.' It is best known for carrying on the Pebbles and Highs in the Mid-Sixties compilation series (plus the later Essential Pebbles sets), collectively rescuing some 800-plus rare garage-punk recordings across 50-plus LPs. As a Bomp-family imprint it remains a collector-focused archival operation; its catalog is sold today through the Bomp store.
