19 Recordings is the record label arm of Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment, founded in 1999 and now based in the United States. It is best known for holding the recording rights to contestants of the Idols/American Idol franchise, and over the years has been the label home or co-signatory for major pop talents. Releases run mainstream pop, country-pop and adult contemporary, typically issued through partnerships with majors such as BMG, Interscope and Hollywood Records rather than a standalone label storefront.
