WA Contemporary Music Fund

Western Australian Government fund, run by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, that helps homegrown contemporary music artists produce and promote their work and build links nationally and internationally. Its Development Program offers individuals, bands and industry professionals up to $20,000 for touring and showcasing (regional, national, international), professional development, and recording and promotion, with priority for broadly popular music; one grant per financial year.

Individuals and groups and are welcome to apply however: individuals must have Australian citizenship or permanent resident status and live in Western Australia groups including unincorporated bodies, partnerships and individuals informally collaborating on an activity must be based in Western Australia
