Australian music charity whose Crisis Relief Grants go to musicians, managers, crew and music workers across all genres who are in financial hardship because of illness, injury, mental health, older age or another current crisis affecting their ability to work in music. Approved help is paid directly against bills or other personal expenses tied to the crisis rather than as cash, and applications go through an online form that its social work team follows up on.

be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have a valid working visa; show that you have worked in or contributed professionally to the Australian music industry for five years; provide names and details of two professional referees; have household expenses which are greater than your household income

Grants are assessed for a current issue impacting ability to work in music and, if approved, will be provided through direct payment of bills or other personal expenses related to the crisis, rather than cash grants. Evidence of a current crisis will be required. Please note: once your application is received, it can take up to 21 days for one of our social work team to contact you to discuss your application.
