New Zealand's music commission, based on Great North Road in Ponsonby, Auckland, which runs Outward Sound - a fund for taking music from Aotearoa to the world. Bands, composers, songwriters, producers, companies and solo artists can apply for a 50% contribution towards approved costs: Business Development Grants up to $5,000 for trade-show trips, and International Market Development Grants up to $50,000 covering touring, showcasing, marketing, visas, flights and accommodation.

ROUND FIVE 2026 Deadline: October 12th 2026 Funding Decisions: December 8th 2026. ROUND ONE 2027 Deadline: December 14th 2026 Funding Decisions: February 9th 2027. Applications must be received by 5:00PM NZST on the closing dates (no exceptions) with the relevant application form and supporting documents. The Outward Sound budget is extremely limited.
