Musicians Foundation
New York · US
New York charity that has given professional musicians financial grants for essential bills - medical and dental treatment, rent and mortgages, utilities - for over a century. Grants are one-time, typically $500 to $3,000, and are paid as a check made out directly to the biller, which it says lets musicians pay bills quickly and with dignity. Applications are open to professional musicians across all genres through a two-part online form, reviewed by staff and a screening committee.
