Irish music development organisation based in the National Concert Hall Building on Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, which manages the government-backed Music Capital Scheme: funding to buy or borrow musical instruments for established and emerging professional performing musicians, community groups and venues, across a wide range of musical styles. Since 2008 it has made 850 awards worth over €4.6 million, including to professional players buying uilleann pipes and a marimba.

The scheme is open to groups and musicians performing a wide range of musical styles and operates five different awards which provides funding for the purchase of musical instruments and the loan of musical instruments, to established and emerging individual professional performing musicians, non-professional performing groups and arts venues and music presenters.
