Iceland Music (Music Fund)

Iceland's music office, on Austurstræti in Reykjavík, which manages the state Music Fund under the Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education. The fund backs Icelandic musicians with grants for composing, recording, releasing and promoting music (ISK 500,000 - 3,000,000), domestic concerts and tours, export marketing, and business projects, plus travel grants every two months for concerts and tours, showcase festivals and premieres abroad (up to ISK 75,000 per person in Europe, 100,000 outside).

The Music Fund operates under the Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education and is managed by Iceland Music. The fund shall contribute to the promotion of Icelandic musicians and their music creation both domestically and internationally.

Application window is open. Deadline is 30 October at 3 PM. Travel grants are awarded every other month. Deadlines are February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1, October 1 and December 1.
