City of Sydney grants program whose Artist Support Grant gives 40 professional practicing artists a year $25,000 each to keep living and practicing in Sydney, covering any aspect of creative practice, cost of living and the costs of producing new work. Composers, songwriters, arrangers, musicians and singers are among the eligible artists, who must live in Greater Sydney and connect to the City of Sydney's creative community.

To be eligible, you must be: working as a professional practicing artist living in Greater Sydney 18 years or older (at the time of application) a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. You must also: contribute to or be connected to the creative and cultural network in the City of Sydney local area
