City of Ottawa fund for local individual artists (emerging, mid-career and established) in the literary, visual, media, interdisciplinary and performing arts, covering project and/or living costs while creating or producing new work: up to $10,000 for creation projects (including composing and rehearsing) and up to $15,000 for production projects (including recording and staging performances) of the artist's own independent work.

Who can apply — in their words
Established, mid-career or emerging artists who are committed to their practice must: be 18 years or older be a current resident of the city of Ottawa and live in Ottawa, or be Anishinabe Algonquin and live within a 150 km radius of Ottawa. Presenters and producers are not eligible to this fund.
