Its Arts Activities Funding supports Canberra artists (music is one of the listed artforms) to create new work, develop skills, take up mentoring or residencies: grants of $500 to $5,000 can be applied for at any time, at least six weeks before the activity starts, and larger $5,000 to $50,000 grants run in two rounds a year (December to February and June to July).

Arts Activities Funding provides support for Canberra artists, groups and organisations to undertake arts activities including creating new work, professional or skills development, mentoring, residencies, and community arts and cultural development and engagement.

This fund is open now and has no deadline.
Up to $5k for smaller projects, available all year round Requests can be from $500 to $5,000. Applications can be made at any time but must be submitted at least six weeks before the activity start date. Round One opens annually on 1 December and closes 28 February (or next business day)
