Splore Festival

Splore is a three day music and arts festival on the coast at Tapapakanga Regional Park, about an hour south east of Auckland, and it has become the summer fixture where Aotearoa acts share stages with international selectors. The 2026 edition ran 20 to 22 February with Nightmares On Wax, Sister Nancy, Francois K, Joe Ariwa and General Levy alongside a deep local bill including Tami Neilson, Estere, JessB, Coco Solid, Christoph El Truento and Dick Move. Beyond the music stages it programmes visual arts, wellness, workshops and a listening lounge, and the costume theme is taken as seriously as the lineup.
