Sled Island is Calgary's premier music and arts festival, held each June across 40+ venues, presenting 250+ bands alongside comedians, visual artists, and filmmakers in a city-wide celebration of independent culture. The festival is known for adventurous, genre-defying programming that gives equal platform to international discoveries and local Calgary acts. Artists can submit music applications via the festival's website each fall through early winter for the following June edition.
