Skanu Mezs is Riga's long-running festival and association for adventurous music and related arts, programming experimental electronics, avant-garde and free improvisation. The 2026 edition runs October 9 to 10 at Hanzas Perons, with a lineup announced in waves that includes Smerz, Charlemagne Palestine, aya, Gudrun Gut and Latvian projects like Sofi and m.a.t.a.d.a.t.a.
