Rototom Sunsplash is among Europe's largest reggae festivals, held each August in Benicàssim, Spain, drawing large crowds for a week of reggae, ska, dub, and dancehall across multiple stages. Alongside its headline program it runs a public artist application form and the Spain-based Rumbo a Rototom band contest, which awards an emerging act a set on the Lion Stage plus travel support and festival accreditations. Artists submit video, a photo, and technical materials through the festival's online application. The 2026 edition centers on mid-August dates on the Valencian coast.
