Rock Werchter is Belgium's premier large-scale rock festival, running since 1976 on the Festivalpark fields near Leuven. Guitar-driven rock and alternative anchor the four-day bill, rounded out with indie, mainstream pop, and a strong electronic contingent. It's a major international destination event where artists play to very large crowds; booking is promoter- and agency-driven.
