Popfest Wien is a free four day festival built around Karlsplatz in Vienna, using a floating Seebuhne stage on the pond in front of the Karlskirche plus indoor rooms at the Wien Museum, the TU Prechtlsaal and Club U. It exists to showcase Austrian pop in the broad sense, taking in indie, electronic, hip hop and alternative, and admission is free across the site. The festival publishes a full team contact list on its own site, with one address for programme approaches and another for general matters, and it keeps a public archive of every edition from 2010 onward.
