Departure Festival (formerly Canadian Music Week) is a major multi-venue music showcase and industry conference held each May in Toronto, presenting 100+ emerging artists from Canada and around the world to industry professionals, media, and fans. The festival has waived application fees in recent editions and offers performance honoraria to all selected acts. Artists worldwide can apply via the festival's Apply to Showcase page, with applications typically open from November through January.
