Colours of Ostrava is the Czech Republic's largest multi genre festival, held since 2002 and staged since 2012 inside the Vitkovice Ironworks, a decommissioned steel plant in Ostrava whose blast furnaces and gas holder now serve as stages. The programme deliberately mixes rock, indie, electronic, world and pop rather than committing to one lane, and the festival runs a talks and discussion strand called Meltingpot alongside the music. It sells and promotes a following edition well ahead of time, with Colours 2027 already on sale. General enquiries go to a named address, and the festival keeps an active presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
