Atlantic Music Expo is a music market and showcase festival held every April in Praia, the capital of Cabo Verde, with the 13th edition set for 5 to 8 April 2027. It pairs day and night showcases, including an urban music stage and DJ sets, with a conference program, practical workshops, one-to-one meetings and an evening street market, and it drew 450 delegates, exhibitors and media in 2026. Traditional, classical, modern, popular and electronic bands and DJs apply through the international showcase form, which closes on Saturday 15 August 2026 and requires three high-resolution photos and at least three mp3 tracks, with an international jury making the selection. Chosen artists get accommodation, per diems, stage equipment and local transport but must fund their own travel to the islands, and the event runs immediately before the Kriol Jazz Festival in the same city.
