Happy Mag

Happy Mag is a long running Australian new music publication run out of Happy Studios in Newtown, Sydney, covering emerging local and international artists across indie, rock and electronic. Its flagship Spotify playlist Happy Mag Weekly (also titled New Indie Music: Happy's Mixtape) is refreshed with the best tunes the team finds each week. Happy also runs Needle in the Hay, one of the country's largest unsigned artist competitions. Artists pitch through the dedicated portal at submit.happymag.tv, where the team aims to reply within a couple of days.
