Uguru is a Lisbon company on Avenida da Liberdade that represents touring artists for Portugal and builds their Portuguese runs, alongside career management and live event production. Its catalogue of represented artists resident outside Portugal is unusually jazz heavy for the market, taking in Avishai Cohen, Shabaka, GoGo Penguin, Tigran Hamasyan, Ibrahim Maalouf, Yumi Ito and the Norwegian saxophonist Karl Seglem, next to Nitin Sawhney, Gustavo Santaolalla and a strong piano line of Ludovico Einaudi, Joep Beving, Wim Mertens and Olafur Arnalds.
