The Alternate Root
Palm Springs · US
Roots and Americana music magazine started online in 2007 by music-business veterans to give roots acts the kind of exposure the industry gave pop acts. It reviews new releases from established and new artists, runs a Top Ten and It's All Music Radio, and has expanded into print and TV. Music is submitted by mailing a CD to editor Danny McCloskey.
