Neformat began in 2004 as a forum where Ukrainian underground music fans argued about records, and it is now a newsroom, a small label and the NGO ГО «Неформат Україна». The site bills itself as 'твій гайд локальною сценою' and files daily news, interviews, reviews and gig reports on punk, hardcore, metal, experimental and indie acts, recently covering Punishment Protocol's debut EP Judgment Day, Mozee Fee, Krovna, Zavoloka and Stas Koroliov. Yaryna Denysiuk is editor in chief; the masthead also lists a news editor, an event manager, a grant manager and the face of their YouTube and TikTok. Artists and labels send band, release and label information to the press address, while gig and festival listings, commercial questions, and grant proposals each go to a different one.
