Lángoló is a long-running Hungarian music site, the old Lángoló Gitárok, now publishing several pieces a day at langolo.hu. It splits into Gitárok for guitar music, Robotok for electronic, Popcorn for film and Betűk for books, with the music side carrying the weight. They break new Hungarian records as well as covering the big international news, and they premiere local releases outright, recently putting out the first EP and video from Rettenet under their Sundance premiere slot. Festival reporting is a real strength, with photo galleries and on-site writing from Sziget and the Fekete Zaj metal festival in the Mátra hills. The site is published by BPRNR Kft. in Budapest, has been supported by the Hangfoglaló Program for a decade, and takes mail at a plain editorial address.
